Business School Launches New Entrepreneurship Incubator
StartUp Academy provides funding and mentorship for student ventures.
The Auckland Academy Business School has launched StartUp Academy, a comprehensive incubator program supporting student entrepreneurs from idea to market. The program offers seed funding up to $25,000, mentorship from successful entrepreneurs, and workspace in the new Innovation Hub.
In its inaugural cohort, 15 student startups have been selected, spanning sectors from sustainable fashion to edtech and health technology. Each team receives intensive support over a 12-month period.
"We're creating the next generation of business leaders right here on campus," said Dean of Business Dr. Amanda Chen. "StartUp Academy gives students real-world experience that no classroom can replicate."
