Our History
Founded in 2020, Auckland Academy has grown from a small institution with just 80 students to become a respected teaching-focused university, serving over 1,200 students from around the world.
Our commitment to academic excellence, research innovation, and student success has earned us recognition as a growing institution in the Asia-Pacific region.
Today, we offer comprehensive programs across multiple disciplines, supported by world-class faculty and state-of-the-art facilities.

Our Milestones
Foundation
Auckland Academy established with 80 students and 4 undergraduate programs on Symonds Street, Auckland.
First Full Year
Enrollment reaches 250 students. Postgraduate programs in Business and Environmental Science launched.
Campus Growth
Completion of the Clark Building renovation. Student numbers pass 500. First research grants awarded.
First Graduates
Inaugural graduating class of 120 students. Kowhai Hall student residence opens. Programs expand to 12.
Research & Recognition
AI Research Lab established. QS World University Rankings debut. Enrollment surpasses 900.
5th Anniversary
Celebrates five years with 1,100+ students from 18 countries. Carbon neutrality achieved across campus.
Expanding Horizons
1,200+ students, 15 programs, new Center for Sustainable Technology. QS ranking improves to top 400.
