Auckland Academy Celebrates Five Years of Growth
From 80 students to over 1,100 in five years — a milestone for New Zealand's newest university.
Auckland Academy proudly celebrates its fifth anniversary, marking five years of rapid growth, academic development, and community impact. Since its founding in 2020, the university has grown from a small college with 80 students to a thriving institution serving over 1,100 students.
The anniversary celebrations included a campus open day, a faculty research showcase, and the launch of a $5 million fundraising campaign for student scholarships and facility upgrades.
"Five years ago, we opened our doors with a bold vision and a small team," said Chancellor Dr. Patricia Williams. "Today, we see that vision taking shape in our 1,800+ alumni and the impact they're making in their communities."
