Auckland Academy Rises to Top 400 in QS World University Rankings
Significant improvement in global rankings reflects investment in research quality and graduate outcomes.
Auckland Academy has climbed to the top 400 universities worldwide in the latest QS World University Rankings 2026, marking a significant improvement from last year's position and reflecting sustained investment in research quality, teaching innovation, and graduate employability.
The university showed particular strength in Environmental Science (ranked 195th), Computer Science (ranked 220th), and Business & Management (ranked 278th). Auckland Academy also scored highly on the international diversity and employer reputation indicators.
"This ranking validates our strategic focus on research excellence and industry partnerships," said Chancellor Dr. Patricia Williams. "We are proud that employers increasingly recognise the quality of Auckland Academy graduates."
The QS rankings evaluate universities across academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty-student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio, and international student ratio.
