May Graduation Ceremony Celebrates 120 New Graduates
Second graduation in Auckland Academy history as more of the founding cohort complete their degrees.
Auckland Academy held its May 2023 graduation ceremony, conferring degrees upon 120 graduates — the second graduation event in the university's young history, following the inaugural ceremony in December 2022.
The graduates include the remainder of the founding 2020 cohort completing three-year bachelor's degrees, as well as the first mid-year completions. Family members and friends filled the Great Hall to capacity.
Keynote speaker Dr. Michelle Wong, CEO of healthcare technology company MedInnovate, encouraged graduates to embrace change and pursue meaningful careers.
"You leave Auckland Academy equipped not just with knowledge, but with the ability to learn, adapt, and lead," she told graduates.
