Student Team Wins National Innovation Competition
Computer Science students develop AI-powered healthcare solution.
A team of Auckland Academy students has won first place in the prestigious National Innovation Challenge with their groundbreaking AI application for early disease detection. The team's project, "MediScan AI," impressed judges with its potential to revolutionize preventive healthcare.
MediScan AI uses advanced machine learning algorithms to analyze medical imaging data and identify early signs of diseases. The system achieved a detection accuracy rate of 94% in preliminary testing.
As the competition winners, the team receives $50,000 in prize money and mentorship from industry leaders.
