Physics Department Joins International Particle Research Consortium

Auckland Academy scientists to contribute to CERN experiments.

The Physics Department has joined an international research consortium that will contribute to experiments at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research. Auckland Academy scientists will participate in data analysis for particle physics experiments.

The partnership provides students and researchers access to cutting-edge facilities and collaboration with leading physicists worldwide.

"Joining this consortium opens incredible opportunities for our physics students and researchers," said Department Chair Professor Richard Yang. "We're now part of some of the most important scientific discoveries of our time."
