Athletics Team Wins University Games Championship

Auckland Academy's athletics team has won the overall championship at the National University Games, outperforming 24 other universities in a week-long competition featuring 18 sports.

The university claimed gold medals in swimming, basketball, and tennis, with strong performances across track and field events contributing to the overall victory.

"This championship reflects years of investment in student athletics and the dedication of our student-athletes who balance rigorous training with academic excellence," said Athletic Director Sarah Thompson.
