Computer Science Department Launches AI Research Lab
New facility will focus on machine learning and ethical AI development.
The Computer Science Department has established a dedicated Artificial Intelligence Research Laboratory, creating a hub for cutting-edge research in machine learning, natural language processing, and ethical AI development.
The lab features high-performance computing clusters, including NVIDIA GPU servers capable of training large-scale neural networks. It will support research projects in healthcare AI, autonomous systems, and AI safety.
"AI is transforming every industry," said Professor Alex Wang, lab director. "This facility positions our students and researchers at the forefront of this revolution while ensuring we develop AI responsibly."
